The Orchestration of Color: The Paintings of Arthur B. Carles

This exhibition is the first important large-scale showing in New York of Arthur B. Carles’ work since the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ 1983 retrospective, also curated by Barbara Wolanin, was shown at the National Academy of Design in 1984.
