CAN Ibiza

Hollis Taggart's Contemporary Art Now (CAN) Ibiza booth will feature the work of Dana James, Osamu Kobayashi, and Kathryn MacNaughton, three emerging abstract painters. Poetic and otherworldly, James's paintings invoke pastel dreamscapes with their multiple textures. MacNaughton seeks to give her works the illusion of appearing digital, flipping the usual formula of analogue-made-digital. Rendered with outsized brushstrokes, Kobayashi's paintings are like playful riddles, featuring biomorphic forms that hint at the surreal.
