Bill Scott at Zeuxis, New York 'Evocations'

18 October – 8 Novemeber 2025

Gallery artist Bill Scott's work Bill Scott, Inside from Outside I (2025), is included in the group exhibition Evocations at Zeuxis in New York.

Evocations, organized by collector Joseph Yohlin, is a group show featuring paintings and works on paper by 20 artists. These works straddle the line between abstraction and representation, inviting the viewer to react to nature, the constructed environment or objects by evoking and suggesting, rather than describing or illustrating.

Founded in 1995, Zeuxis, an association of artists, has organized scores of shows in New York and across the country. THERE, a space for viewing art, became available to Zeuxis eight years ago and has afforded the association the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of shows. This is the first time a collector has offered to lend a hand. Joseph Yohlin has chosen the works on view and has provided for a full color catalog to accompany Evocations, including an introductory essay by John Goodrich.
