ABOUT ART WEEK NYC

Art Week NYC is an annual citywide gathering celebrating contemporary art across New York's leading galleries, institutions, and cultural spaces. From November 11–14, 2026, exhibitions, openings, conversations, and special programming will unfold across Chelsea, the Upper East Side, the Lower East Side, and Tribeca.

A CITYWIDE ECOSYSTEM
New York is home to one of the world's most influential ecosystems of galleries and institutions, with each neighborhood offering its own perspective, history, and artistic community. From gallery walks and coordinated openings to performances and special events, galleries across the city will serve as the foundation of Art Week NYC. Museums and cultural institutions will further shape the experience through exhibitions, talks, and public programming throughout the week.

LIVE PROGRAMMING
Alongside conversations, exhibition walk-throughs, and neighborhood tours, Artforum and ARTnews will present programming exploring the intersection of art with film, entertainment, music, fashion, sports, and culture. Art Week NYC welcomes art world professionals, collectors, patrons, and new audiences alike. We believe the power of art lies not only in experiencing individual works, but in the conversations and exchanges they inspire when experienced collectively.
