Join us for a literary reading featuring Soje, Sigrid Adamsson, Asha Futterman, Hua Xi and Shuling Guo on Friday, November 13 at 6 pm at Hollis Taggart Downtown (109 Norfolk St, New York, NY 10002). Writers will read works in celebration of Shuling Guo's exhibition Temple II, paintings which bring the female body, botanical forms, and devotional imagery together as a language shaped by motherhood, memory, and loss. The event will bring writers and artists together in conversation through a reading of works and a reception within the gallery space.
