Collaboration with the environmental advocacy organization Riverkeeper

January 27, 2021

In conjunction with the exhibition Remnant Romance, Environmental Works: Idelle Weber and Aurora Robson, Hollis Taggart is excited to announce a collaboration with the environmental advocacy organization Riverkeeper, which protects and restores the Hudson River from source to sea. A portion of proceeds from the exhibition will benefit Riverkeeper and the gallery will also participate in Riverkeeper’s 10th Annual Sweep, the largest shoreline cleanup in New York. Sweep volunteers protect the Hudson River estuary by removing tons of trash and debris from our shorelines and restore habitat by removing invasive species and planting native plants and trees. This year’s Sweep will take place on Saturday May 1st 2021 and Aurora Robson will create a reflective artwork in honor of the event. Please stay tuned for more information about how to join us for Sweep.
